This kind of steel can resist the corrosion of atmosphere, nitric acid and saline solution, and has the characteristics of good high temperature antioxidant performance and small coefficient of thermal expansion, used in nitric acid and food plant equipment, but also can make parts working at high temperature, such as gas turbine parts.

Austenitic stainless Steel

Title Contains more than 18% chromium, but also contains about 8% nickel and a small amount of molybdenum, titanium, nitrogen and other elements. Good comprehensive performance, can withstand a variety of media corrosion. Austenitic stainless Steel's commonly used grades are 1Cr18Ni9, 0Cr19Ni9 and so on. The Wc<0.08% of 0Cr19Ni9 steel is marked as  "0" in the steel number. This type of steel contains a large amount of Ni and Cr, making the steel in austenitic condition at room temperature. This type of steel has good plasticity, toughness, weldability, corrosion resistance and non-magnetic or weak magnetism, in oxidizing and reductive media corrosion resistance is good, used to make acid resistant equipment, such as corrosion resistance containers and equipment lining, conveyor pipes, nitric acid equipment parts, etc., but also can be used as the main material of stainless steel watch jewelry.

Austenitic stainless steel generally uses solid solution treatment, the steel will be heated to 1050~1150℃, and then water-cooled or air-cooled, in order to obtain Tansiango body tissue.

Precipitated hardened Stainless steel The matrix is austenitic or martensite tissue, and the commonly used grades of precipitated hardened stainless steel are 04Cr13Ni8Mo2Al.

It can be treated by precipitation hardening (also known as aging hardening) to make it hard (strong) stainless steel.

Martensite stainless steel commonly used grades have 1Cr13, 3Cr13 and so on, because of the high carbon content, so has a high strength, hardness and wear resistance, but the corrosion resistance is slightly worse, for the mechanical properties of high requirements, corrosion resistance requirements of some parts, such as springs, steam turbine blades, hydraulic press valves and so on. This type of steel is used after quenching and tempering treatment.

Annealing is required after forging and stamping.
